DEAR GOD I COULD NOT POSSIBLY BE ANY MORE EXCITED FOR THIS. Paul Thomas Anderson is an absolute genius (I don’t use the word lightly) and there isn’t a film of his that I’m not in love with (yes, even going back to Sydney/Hard Eight).
Between this, and a new Wes Anderson movie, and a new Quentin Tarantino movie, and a new David O. Russell movie, and the annual new Woody Allen movie, and the final Batman movie, this is truly shaping up to be a movie lover’s year.
